Job Description:

Essential Job Functions

• 
  Maintain positive, progressive, and productive attitude toward plant targets and objectives regarding reliability, accountability, safety, integrity, quality, and productivity as a unified goal.
  
• Use of hand-held controls to operate an overhead crane in a safe/efficient manner.
• Working with the shipping team and production crew to ensure that parts are moved and staged in accordance with business needs.
• Assisting in performing routine switchgear production work.
• Read blueprints to install copper and aluminium conductors using hand tools and torque wrenches
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. consistently and safely.
• Resolve most of the problems encountered in keeping the team on target with assistance from team members.
• Complete daily routine operations tasks for both Copper and sheet metal and when the unit is on target.
• Provide troubleshooting assistance and determine the cause of performance gaps using collaborative data knowledge and skills.
• Document/report all production quality requirements and any performance gaps ensuring all relevant troubleshooting and resolution information is recorded.
• Provide support for general engineering and electrical activities as required.
• Ensuring accuracy in maintaining production records such as quantities and types produced.
• Compliance with all safety rules and procedures.
• Must be able to work overtime when our workload demands.
