Responsibilities involve the coordination and supervision of the various functions and aspects of a department as well as the monitoring operational procedures. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on results obtained. May supervise staff or student assistants.

Major/Essential Functions
Process and manage prior authorizations for timely completion n subspecialty divisions.
Monitor message box for division to ensure messages are responded to timely, and urgent messages are addressed by RN/Provider within policy guidelines.
Monitor and process faxes and efax timely for divisions.
Facilitate communication between clinic and billing/coding or managed care and subspecialty divisions.
Assist with referral process to other specialists as directed by providers.
Assist with scheduling appointments for other diagnostic testing, referrals, and laboratory services.
Assist with prepping, stocking, cleaning rooms as needed during peak clinic times and when clinic is short staffed.
