Summary: The Acushnet Corporate Controlling team is responsible for timely and accurate financial reporting for our $2 billion+ portfolio of some of the most revered brands in golf, including Titleist and FootJoy, and creates value for the business through seamless execution of controlling activities, and technical and process expertise.


The Senior Accountant, Financial Accounting will join the growing Corporate Accounting team. The ideal candidate is an energetic and proactive individual who is well-organized, team-oriented and willing to take on new challenges. This role will allow you to grow your accounting expertise, learn about the business, and is an ideal entry point into the organization for an individual who is looking for professional growth and learning. Responsibilities:



  • Primarily responsible for components of North America balance sheet and income statement accounting.

  • Perform monthly journal entries and reconciliations in the areas of responsibility.

  • Prepare annual business plan and monthly forecast for areas of responsibility.

  • Analyze monthly departmental expenses and investigate variances.

  • Prepare monthly fluctuation and variance analysis.

  • Assist with the preparation of quarterly and year end work papers to support the Company's SEC and IFRS reporting requirements.

  • Ensure compliance with group internal control requirements.

  • Perform other accounting and forecasting duties as needed.


Requirements:



  • Bachelor of Science or Master's in Accounting with a minimum of 3-4 years of experience.

  • A combination of audit experience in public accounting, along with industry experience with a publicly traded multinational consumer products company is strongly preferred.

  • Strong enthusiasm for technology, innovation, and a fast-paced business environment.

  • Enthusiasm and passion for athletics, golf, and the Titleist and FootJoy brands.

  • This is a hybrid role that will be in person as needed.
