Facilities Management is an integral element of the Business Affairs team and serves to create, maintain, and continuously improve the William & Mary physical environment to enable excellence in teaching, research, and public service.
This position is a part of the plumbing shop, responsible for providing master mechanic plumbing, structural maintenance and repair campus-wide. The incumbent performs under general supervision and requires the application of standard trade practices in providing plumbing maintenance and repair as well as incidental support for electrical and carpentry repairs for all facilities.
This position is subject to overtime and schedule changes and may be required to work shifts during weekends, holidays, and special events. Incumbent may be required to participate in the Facilities Management "on-call" program. This position has been designated as essential to the operation of the department, will require reporting to work when the university is officially closed, and is subject to overtime.

All hiring rates are commensurate with relevant experience up to the advertised amount considering internal alignment.
