Domtar's Nekoosa, Wisconsin pulp & paper mill is currently seeking hourly, entry-level production workers who havea safety mindset. Our career progression providesopportunities to gain experienceand developskills in the pulp and paper-making manufacturing technologies while increasing your earnings.


Workers in theentry levellabor pool are assigned to operating and service departments to assist with extraworkload, cover absences, and supplement crews required to meet unusual changes in the workload.Job dutiesmay include butare notlimited to;operation ofmachinery,forklift/clamp truck operatingandgeneral housekeeping.


New employees earn $28.70 an hourplus shift differentialwhileworking inentrylevel positions. The rate of pay is determined by the position the employeeworks inthat day. Domtar offers competitive benefits includingmedical, dental, vision, life insurance and 401(k) with company match. Benefits areeffective onthe 1stof the month followingthe hiredate. New hires earn one week of paid vacationaftersix months of employment and an additional week after one year of service. Domtar also recognizes 11paid holidays.


Required Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years old and have a high school diploma orGED.


• Must have a minimum of 2 years full or part-time work/school experience within the last 4years.


• Must be available to work rotating 12-hour, '4 on 4 off', shifts that include weekends,holidays,and overtime as necessary.


• Must be able to perform typical physical aspects of the job, including standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), bending, twisting, reaching, navigatingstairs.

• Ability to passcomputer-based aptitude testing, panel interview,pre-employment physical capabilities test, pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, and a backgroundcheck.

• Basic math, reading comprehension, writing and computer skills.
