What You Will Do
We are building a talent pool for two key positions at the Lititz site including both Warehouse Specialists and Machine Operators (Packaging Generalists). We have opportunities on the following shifts and will be assigned based on availability and seniority: 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:00pm Monday to Friday), 3rd shift (11:00pm-7:00am Monday to Friday), "A" shift (7:00am-7:00pm Monday to Wednesday), "B" shift (7:00pm-7:00am Monday to Thursday, "C" shift (7:00am-7:00pm Thursday to Sunday), or "D" shift (7:00pm-7:00am Thursday to Sunday); note A-B-C-D shifts alternate between 4 days a week and 3 days a week on the 7 to 7 schedules.
Our Warehouse Specialists are responsible for operating forklifts to load/unload trailers and transporting pallets of raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout the facility in support of our manufacturing and packaging operations.
Our Packaging Generalists are responsible for the setup, operation, cleaning, and changeover of various types of packaging equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate various types of forklifts to move materials throughout the facility.
• Load and unload trailers and transport pallets of raw materials, packaging components, operating supplies, finished goods and other materials to and from various plant locations.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of the Inventory Management System (SAP) and utilize it effectively in a production environment.
• Perform sanitation and light maintenance tasks, including general housekeeping of the receiving and shipping docks and other areas of the Warehouse.
• Safely and efficiently setup, operate, and clean a variety of types of packaging equipment.
• Perform equipment changeovers and basic preventative maintenance tasks safely and efficiently on various types of packaging equipment.
• Accurately complete required documentation in a GMP environment.
• Experience operating aerial / scissor lifts.
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of a High School Diploma / GED required.
• Minimum two (2) years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in a Warehouse and / or Manufacturing / Packaging facility.
• Ability to demonstrate proficiency in various subjects: reading, arithmetic, inspection and measurements, and mechanical aptitude through computerized testing.
• Work experience within a GMP facility.
• SAP or other inventory management system experience.
• Physical ability to manually lift material up to 50 pounds.
• Requires flexibility and ability to work available shifts: 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:00pm Monday to Friday), 3rd shift (11:00pm-7:00am Monday to Friday), "A" shift (7:00am-7:00pm Monday to Wednesday), "B" shift (7:00pm-7:00am Monday to Thursday, "C" shift (7:00am-7:00pm Thursday to Sunday), or "D" shift (7:00pm-7:00am Thursday to Sunday); note A-B-C-D shifts alternate between 4 days a week and 3 days a week on the 7 to 7 schedules.
Desired Qualifications:
• Experience operating 5 high reach truck and slip sheet forklifts in a Warehouse or Manufacturing facility.
• Experience at loading intermodal, dry van, and refrigerated units via forklifts.

These positions are under a Collective Bargaining Agreement in a Union environment. Applicants will need to pass a series of computerized tests as well as an interview and will be considered based upon these results as well as their experience and skills.
