RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Tempe, AZ that is seeking an Information Security Specialist.

Responsibilities:

• The Information Security Specialist provides technical support of activities, processes, and tools for protecting technology-based information


• Provides technical support to clients, management, security administrators, and network operations


• Reviews, develops, tests, and implements security plans, products, and control techniques


• Reviews circumstances surrounding data security incidents and designs corrective actions


• As an Information Security Specialist, this role documents security policies and procedures


• Provides implementation support for risk assessment and data security procedures and products

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of systems engineering (Windows, Linux) experience


• 5+ years of experience in production cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)


• 5 years of experience deploying a SIEM solution (platform integration)


• 5 years of security monitoring Blue Team experience


• 5 years of experience performing log analysis and investigation of security-related items


• Strong analytical and documentation skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
