This is an excellent opportunity to join the Department of Surgery Research Administration team. In this newly created position, you will be managing large, complex clinical trials, federal contracts and OTAs. Due to the rapid expansion of the department's research portfolio, we are recruiting a dynamic leader to assist in managing these large, complex programs.
Manages grant administration duties and supports all related operations to ensure resources are properly allocated to support research needs. Oversees financial activities and account reconciliations. Serves as primary contact for all grant and contract issues.
Manage the pre and post award administrative and financial duties for large, complex federal contracts and OTAs (Other Transaction Agreements). Clinical Trial research administration experience and knowledge of the FAR clauses is needed to monitor compliance. Ability to manage and lead a team of professional research administrators, supervisory experience and skills.
Must be able to sit at a computer for long periods of time. Some walking or travel around campus to meetings when required to attend in person.
