Position Overview
The Department of Advanced Data Analytics seeks qualified individuals for its Graduate Adjunct Instructor pool and welcomes applicants at any time. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester and openings to teach these courses develop on a periodic basis, depending on department teaching needs.
The anticipated need is for Adjunct Instructors whose duties may include but are not limited to developing and teaching graduate-level (5000 level) data analytics courses such as univariate and multivariate statistics, machine learning, data visualization, data engineering, and AI.
Minimum Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Data Analytics/Science or related quantitative/technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Mathematics, Economics), or a master's degree in Data Analytics/Science with significant professional experience in the field. Candidates must be effective teaching either online or face-to-face classes.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to those with experience applying data analytics techniques in business, government, or science settings.
