Documentation Specialist must be able to select and use appropriate language and grammar to edit and revise Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) User Manuals, Operating Guides, Reports, and presentation materials for technical documentation. The candidate works independently with minimal supervision to provide expertise in technical data entry, document generation, storage, and maintenance in word processing applications.
Performs familiar, routine assignments following standard procedures. Seeks further instructions for assignments requiring deviations from established procedures. Uses knowledge of varied and advanced functions of MS Word to perform such typical duties as editing and reformatting written or electronic drafts. Produces a variety of standard documents, such as correspondence, form letters, reports, tables, and other printed materials. Work requires skill in typing; strong knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and spelling; and the ability to use reference guides and equipment manuals.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for a Position of Public Trust.
This position currently follows a hybrid schedule. The candidate will be expected to report to the ECS Atlantic City office at least two (2) days per week or as required.

Education:
Two position levels are available. Candidates for the mid-level position must have a High School Diploma with at least 4 years of relevant experience. The senior level requires 8 years of relevant experience. Years of relevant experience will be reduced lieu of a Bachelor's or Associates degree.
Skills, Abilities & Certifications:
FAA Documentation experience preferred
MS Office Suite 2016 proficiency including Outlook and Word
Experience inserting/deleting graphic files in documentation tools
