Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an early career Information Technology candidate to join our growing organization. In this position, you will be responsible for supporting network databases and systems, updating and maintaining system hardware and software, troubleshooting for system errors, and assisting team members while ensuring all data security and technical requirements are met. A background in information technology or computer science with exposure to business administration is required. This individual must be business-minded and able to start and maintain professional relationships with the company's outsourced IT vendors. A selection of accountabilities is listed below:
Ensure that the business extracts full business value from IT Systems
Understand the business needs and detail the business and system requirements that address these needs day to day, on projects, and initiatives
Become a specialist on how the business processes utilize existing IT solutions and facilitate implementation of new business processes and system modifications to simplify operations
Proactively find opportunities for IT to deliver innovative solutions to the business
Analyze data to present informed and accurate business decisions
Administer network devices and data security including; active directory and group policy management, anti-malware protection, email security, and endpoint security management
Perform data backups to ensure all company-owned data is saved and secure
Install and update network and system improvements
Install and configure wired and wireless networking equipment
Monitor servers, cloud applications, LAN/WAN networks, and Wi-Fi connectivity to ensure full availability
Produce technological solutions to business needs and evolving security requirements
Assist with the design, implementation, and support of new software and features
Evaluate current connectivity, equipment, and software and hardware
Respond to IT issues, hardware maintenance, software, networking, etc.
Provide helpdesk and technical support through phone, remote access, and on-site visits
Troubleshoot system errors and managing support tickets and vendors
Build and maintain vendor relationships
Consult with vendors to integrate and update company technology
Set up equipment for new users and employees
Ensure system optimization for all technology resources
Required Candidate Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required, with concentration in computer science, information systems, or a related field preferred
1-2 years' experience in an information technology role
Experience working and managing vendors within information technology
Applicable understanding of network, device, and server management
Familiarity with cloud and hybrid deployments
Knowledge of use and maintenance of Microsoft SharePoint, Dynamics, and Project servers both Online and on-premises
Knowledge on use and maintenance of on-premises virtual and bare-metal servers
Up-to-date knowledge of new systems, information, software, hardware, and security requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
Professional level communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; self-confidence.
Possesses innate quantitative reasoning capability, is highly insightful and capable of achieving the required outcomes under all conditions and at all times - an effective winner who is unwilling to fail.

Career Progression, Compensation and Talent Development:
Brooks International distinctly offers an accelerated, transparent career path with employee training/talent development, competency development/certification and performance management as the linchpin of career progression. The expected annual compensation is as follows:
Year 1-2: Commensurate - $70,000
Year 3+: $100,000 - $150,000
The position above offers a lucrative compensation package consisting of a competitive base salary, annual performance bonus and a comprehensive benefit package, including employer funded health, vision and dental benefits, life insurance, short and long term disability, 401(k) savings plan and paid time off.
