Job Description:
Job Summary:
- Operating deck machinery, such as winches and cranes, to load and unload cargo.
- Standing watch on the bridge, monitoring the vessel's position, and keeping a lookout for other vessels and navigational hazards.
- Performing routine maintenance and repair work on the vessel, including painting, cleaning, and chipping rust.
- Assisting with the safe navigation of the vessel, including taking depth soundings and setting and adjusting course as directed.
- Participating in the launching and recovery of lifeboats and other safety equipment.
- Handling lines and cables during docking and undocking of the vessel.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Vessel Master or senior officers.
