Position: Senior Auditor As a Senior Auditor, you will be responsible for leading and performing financial audits for various clients, including government entities, non-profit organizations, and privately owned businesses. You will utilize your strong understanding of auditing principles and GAAP to ensure compliance and identify potential risks and improvements for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and perform financial audits for clients in various industries, including government entities, non-profit organizations, and privately owned businesses.
Utilize your knowledge of GAAP and auditing principles to ensure compliance and identify potential risks and improvements for clients.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service.
Train and mentor junior auditors and provide guidance and feedback to enhance their skills and performance.
Prepare detailed audit reports and communicate findings and recommendations to clients and senior management.
Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and best practices in auditing.
Assist in the development and implementation of audit policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting
Strong understanding of GAAP and auditing principles
Experience working with government entities, non-profit organizations, and privately owned businesses is preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software
Willingness to travel as needed
Nice to have skills: Experience working with government entities, non-profit organizations, and privately owned businesses is preferred.
