Skills and Abilities:
Working knowledge of testing and repair tools and equipment
Critical thinking, problem solving, troubleshooting, and negotiating skills
Ability to complete paperwork in an accurate, neat, and efficient manner
Basic computer, reading, and comprehension skills
Knowledge of safe work practice
Pay range - $25-35 hr (minimum of two year’s experience)
Schedule Monday – Friday Rotating Saturday’s
Physical Requirements
May be required to work at customer sites or in store warehouse environment. Must be able to crawl, climb, bend, and squat. Must be comfortable working in hot, cold, and closed environments and able to lift 70 pounds on a regular basis. EOE
Diagnose and repair all major appliances
Read schematics and research part replacement
Navigate service software and vendor websites
Determine warranty and non-warranty repairs
Perform repairs in accordance with manufacturer specs in a timely and efficient manner
Replaces worn and defective parts such as switches, bearings, transmissions, belts, gears, circuit boards, or defective wiring.
Reassembles units after repairs are made, making adjustments and cleaning and lubricating parts as needed.
Observes and tests operation of appliances following installation, and makes any initial installation adjustments that are necessary.
Demonstrate excellent time management skills
Efficiently communicate with service team and retail store management
Educate the customer on the product and service performed
Protect the customer’s property
Proficient use of the Package AI software program
Consistently verify Model and Serial numbers on all work orders
Participate in training opportunities designed to enhance knowledge and skills
Keep assigned vehicle clean and organized, maintaining proper inventory
