Location and Shifts: Coraopolis PA 15108 - 40 hour work week, no overtime or on-call hours
First 4-6 weeks will be onsite Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM for training
After this, they will be assigned to an 8 hours shift within the working hours of the helpdesk team
Shift fall anywhere between 7AM and Midnight
Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday schedule
Duration: 6 month contract - possible extensions
Job Description:
Insight Global is looking for a junior IT Help Desk associate to join a large Pittsburgh based retailer to assist with busy season. This is an entry level role and will include support work assisting store staff and customers. Some of the daily operations the associate will be responsible for are troubleshooting of registers, pin pads and handheld devices, password resets, connectivity issues, and desktop/laptop support on both Windows and Mac environments. The associate will be using active directory and an internal ticketing system to deliver on these issues, whether this is writing up documentation/reports, receiving inquiries, and escalating advanced problems. The right candidate will have an energetic personality and exemplify strong customer service skills both written and verbal. This will be and onsite role, so the candidate must be local to the Pittsburgh area.
Requirements:
Associate's degree in Information Technology or related field
Internship/previous exposure to operating systems, networking support, laptops, etc.
Strong customer service
Nice to Have:
1-2 years in a similar helpdesk/desktop support role from a retail environment
