Role and Responsibilities: (day to day expected job duties)
EAP Process Design & Implementation: Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement improvements or innovations pertaining to the Equipment Automation Program(EAP) processes and functions, specifically focused on seamless communication between manufacturing tools and upper-level applications like RMS and MES
System Management: Oversee detailed production planning and operations by leveraging the capabilities of the EAP system. Provide immediate support during system malfunctions at local sites(SOR/SOP). Maintenance and issue monitoring for on-line equipment.
Process Establishment: Define and manage the address map for equipment communication. Define and guide the establishment of efficient manufacturing system processes within the real ms of process management, quality management, and equipment management, ensuring EAP integration to reduce manual intervention and minimize errors
Production Activity Monitoring: Utilize EAP systems to track production performance. Alignment and monitoring of data transmission between MES and legacy systems are required
Training & Support: Lead user training sessions on EAP systems and provide consistent support to team members, fostering and environment of continuous learning and system efficiency
Troubleshooting & Prevention: Act proactively to address manufacturing site issues, troubleshoot system anomalies, and strategize preventive measures using EAP functionalities
This position would require 5% to 25% travel annually between partner manufacturing sites in other states(TN,GA)
Minimum Requirements (skills required to do this job; list at least 3 that are quantifiable)
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
Must have minimum of 1+ years of hands-on experience in the manufacturing industry, predominantly centered on MES systems.
o Entry: 0 to 2 year hands-on work experience
o Junior: 3 to 6 year hands-on work experience
o Senior: 7+ year hands-on work experience
Adeptness in designing and implementing EAP systems.
Extensive experience in Melsec PLC(MELSEC).
Proven capability in developing host systems.
Demonstrated proficiency in developing SEMI host systems
Strong expertise in Java, MSSQL, NET, and Java SpringBoot
An intrinsic ability to collaborate and contribute within a team setting
Stellar teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills.
Familiarity with cloud-based ERP and Groupwarae solutions.
In-depth knowledge of administrative best practices and process optimization
Preferred Requirements
IT development expertise,notably in.NET, C#, JAVA, etc, with an emphasis on system development for semiconductor/battery manufacturing industries
Rich experience in interfacing with production/inspection equipment and adeptness in PLC/HSMS/TIB communication protocols.
Strong background in automated equipment control and data collection
Proficiency in designing and implementing automation strategies
Experience in integrating EAP with MES and RMS systmes.
Considering detailing secondary skills, certifications, or experience that could augment the role but are not obligatory.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
