What You Will Do:
Co-architect Innovative Solutions: Collaborate with your team to design and implement a cutting-edge cloud data analytics platform that meets our evolving business needs.
Enhance Data Operations: Support and improve our data-ops practices, ensuring our data solutions are efficient and effective.
Monitor and Maintain Systems: Keep an eye on the health of our data solutions and ensure they deliver high performance and reliability.
Engage with Stakeholders: Build positive relationships with clients and internal teams, understanding their goals to propose technology solutions that drive success.
Collaborate and Innovate: Work in an agile environment with engineers, product managers, and analysts to create creative solutions that benefit the organization.
Guide Standards and Governance: Define the best practices for data architecture, platform architecture, and data quality to align with our organizational goals.
What You Need to Succeed:
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, data science, or a related field.
Experience:
At least 2 years designing and implementing data warehouses in Snowflake.
A minimum of 8 years in data modeling, architecture, and engineering.
Proficiency in data transformation using DBT and familiarity with data quality products such as Monte Carlo or BigEye.
Skilled in Azure DevOps and experienced with software development methodologies (SDLC, Agile, SCRUM).
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of data warehouse design patterns (star schema, data vault) and building high-performance data pipelines.
Proficient in SQL and Python with an understanding of RESTful APIs and current data engineering trends.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and listening skills to facilitate technology evaluations and achieve consensus among diverse teams.
Strong ability to manage multiple priorities while driving continuous improvement.
Nice to Have:
Experience in delivering end-to-end data analytics platforms using modern data stack components.
Familiarity with AI/ML technologies.
Certifications such as SnowPro Advanced or DBT Analytical Engineer.
