The Manager, PMO will be responsible for establishing, managing, and optimizing the Project Management Office in the IT Department. This role involves developing project management methodologies, standards, and tools to support project teams and ensure project success. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive experience in project management, and the ability to drive continuous improvement within the PMO.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Establish and maintain the Project Management Office (PMO), defining project management processes, standards, and governance • Lead and manage the PMO team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
Develop and implement project management methodologies, tools, and templates to standardize project delivery • Ensure alignment of projects with business objectives, providing strategic direction and prioritization • Monitor and report on project performance, including scope, schedule, budget, and quality metrics. • Facilitate project reviews and audits to ensure adherence to project management best practices • Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues and implementing corrective actions as needed. • Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to define project goals, scope, and deliverables • Provide training and support to project managers and team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement • Oversee resource allocation and capacity planning to optimize project delivery • Drive the adoption of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies as appropriate • Ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in project management

Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field • Proven experience as a PMO Manager or in a similar project management leadership role • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred • Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence, Monday, Microsoft Excel) • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: • Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Master) • Knowledge of portfolio management and strategic planning • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred

Perform under pressure and/or opposition at times relying on your own independent judgment and knowledge to decide the best directions and solutions. While representing the company, the marketing coordinator will be required to determine answers to questions and situations which may be socially or politically volatile. Execution and communication of such solutions are often in the public eye.
Computer Skills:
Demonstrate advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite including, but not limited to Word, PPT, Excel, and Project.
