The Population Health Analyst in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, eagerly promotes a culture of health and wellbeing to our clients and internal teammates. With guidance from the Population Health Consultant, they handle the implementation and maintenance of wellbeing initiatives that educate, motivate and engage clients and their employees in all aspects of wellbeing. The Population Health Analyst focuses on reducing costs and risk while maximizing the overall wellbeing of the client's population.
How You Will Contribute
Play key role in the development and branding of Brown & Brown's Population Health consulting services
Review Health Plan Intelligence (HPI) analytics to provide supporting data for recommended wellbeing strategies
Send out Request for Proposals from wellbeing vendors
Model pricing of selected vendors based on client population and chosen wellbeing program components
Maintain presence in industry to stay abreast of changes in products and additions to the wellness market space
Respond to questions and requests internal Brown & Brown employees and external Brown & Brown clients
Assist in preparation materials for prospect and client meetings
Assist clients with daily service functions and frequent ad hoc requests, escalating issues as needed
Write/edit wellbeing program benefit guide descriptions and other wellbeing materials as requested
Develops internal and external wellbeing collateral explaining wellbeing-focused topics
Identify, plan, and develop methods and procedures to obtain greater efficiency and effectiveness of Population Health programs
Participate in client functions, industry seminars and training programs as directed
Works closely with dedicated Population Health Consultant to manage client projects and initiatives
Assist Advanced Contracting Strategies team with other needs as assigned
Skills & Experience to Be Successful
Minimum 5+ years' experience, in Health Promotion, Health Education, Public Health or related field
Bachelor's degree in related field is required; Master's degree preferred
Professional designations such as CEBS, CWP, CHES, or CLU are helpful. Human Resource certifications are also preferred, such as PHR or SPHR.
Ability to run meetings and confidently speak to executive teams.
Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, ability to communicate effectively and professionally, able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong computer skills utilizing the Microsoft Office products: Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Able to travel to client's location in coordination with sales/service team members.
This position may require routine or periodic travel which may require the teammate to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle. If required, acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages are requirements of this position.
