Key Responsibilities
Prepare and submit accurate cost estimates for construction projects
Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information
Research and evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals
Maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing
Monitor project budgets and adjust estimates as needed during project execution
Assist in risk assessment by identifying potential cost overruns and proposing mitigation strategies
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Estimator in the industrial construction industry
Strong understanding of construction processes and estimating methods
Proficient in estimating software and tools
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Effective communication and negotiation skills
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
Experience in cement, industrial construction, and concrete estimating is a plus
