Key Responsibilities:
Distributed Energy Resources (DER) Interconnection Project Managers (PM) are responsible for all aspects of their projects and coordinating with ComEd customers to interconnect new customer-owned DERs.
PMs execute schedules in accordance with established Interconnection Agreements (IA).
PMs own procurement, resource coordination, design, electrical system outage coordination, construction, interconnection and commissioning, financial reporting and tracking in accordance with Sarbanes Oxley principals, and all stakeholder communications required to successfully interconnect customers.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
Skills-PMP, Utility/ Gas/ Solar/ Energy Domain and Project Management.
Must be on resume mainly with recent experience
Financial & forecasting acumen, experience managing medium voltage (12kV - 69KV) utility projects, contract management experience
Ability to manage a portfolio of >25 projects in all stages of initiation, scope definition, design, construction, and closeout. Interconnection PMs need to manage competing priorities of ComEd resource constraints and Customer schedule and cost limitations and be able to clearly communicate with all stakeholders.
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, including Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, or Construction Engineering.
Others may be considered if candidate has strong Utility PM experience (8+ years).
Experience managing medium voltage (12kV - 69KV) utility projects, Proficient in reading electrical prints, Understanding of Sarbanes Oxley accounting principles Real Estate easement, zoning, and permitting experience, Proficient with Microsoft Office 365, Asset Suite 8 experience
Candidates must live in the client's service territory and have the ability to drive anywhere in that territory Monday - Friday
