This position's purpose is to contribute to the emulsion and large scale liquid flavor manufacturing group to produce various types of products related to the food and flavor industry
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform related duties as assigned by manager
Handle and weigh various types of liquid and solid raw materials including various chemicals and essential oils
Utilize and maintain two stage homogenizers and shearmills to produce flavor emulsions
Blend and mix ingredients for intermediate use and finished products
Package stock and finished goods
Perform sanitation duties including CIP and COP
QUALIFICATIONS
High school graduate or equivalent
2-3 years experience with food processes and equipment including emulsions and homogenizers
Forklift certification and proficiency to safely operate an electric sit down two pedal forklift to four pallet racks high in a warehousing and production environment
Adhere to workplace safety guidelines and utilize proper PPE
Contribute to the Company's Food Safety Culture program by following cGMPs, food safety policies and reporting to management any issues that could lead to the contamination of equipment, materials or products.
Work well as an individual and as an integral part of the manufacturing team
Strong interpersonal skills with clear communication both in verbal and written form
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
