SUMMARY
Work in collaboration with Procurement Directors for integration into overall strategy of BakeMark Corporate Procurement for manufacturing and distribution materials, services, and processes for commodities.
Manage defined commodity product categories, preferred and exclusive supplier programs, sold via National distribution into the bakery channel.
Responsible for developing, recommending and implementing strategic plans through self-generated critical thought data models.
Utilize Requests for Proposal (RFPs) for procurement (North America) of manufacturing and distribution product categories against forecasted demand.
Promotes sustainable and profitable sales growth.
Assist with supplier approvals, and additional Corporate projects.
Successful candidates will possess business acumen, customer focus, process management skills and a results-driven mindset.
Successful candidates must already have experiences with these defined commodities.
This ideal candidate will have relevant experience in purchasing the commodities we purchase for manufacturing and distribution (i.e. foodservice, bakery manufacturing, etc):
