Technical Staffing Resources is looking for an Jr. Project Manager who has excellent communication skills that is eager to develop their project management competence. You will learn on the job, working with our experienced team, including designers, technical experts, construction personnel, and operations. Under general supervision, this position is responsible for all phases of planning and execution on capital projects. You will plan, organize, coordinate, and control capital engineering projects in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the company. You will have responsibility for day-to-day contact and communication with the client and focuses on providing customer satisfaction. Job role has financial accountability.
This position is located at a client site in Circleville, OH.
No per diem is offered for this position.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
Defines, generates, and reviews project documentation.
Performs technical studies to refine project requirements and scope.
Responsible for technical and operational leadership of project within the guidelines set by the program manager and client.
Monitors projects to ensure scope, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained.
Leads a cross functional project team composed of operations, maintenance, design, construction, scheduling, and procurement.
Provides the coordination between resources and business leaders to ensure all necessary reviews and approvals are received.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.
1-3 years' experience.
Project management experience a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills
High level of drive and initiative to complete assigned tasks and seek out improvement opportunities.
Solid interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to lead multiple projects/task and drive these to completion.
Experience in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
Physical Requirements:
Work is located at a chemical plant and requires exposure to ambient temperature extremes.
Work may require using and wearing personal protective equipment such as fire-retardant clothing, hearing and eye protection, hard hat, and steel-toed boots.
Day-to-day physical requirements involve standard office activities including sitting/standing for extended periods of time, attending meetings, use of keyboard and mouse repetitively, lifting and carrying less than 20 lbs. frequently, etc.
Work requires moderate physical exertion including walking to operating areas and walking up stairs.
