About the Role - The Supply Chain Process Improvement Manager is responsible for developing and implementing key strategies to optimize Halocarbon's supply chain operations. This role requires an innovative, process-oriented individual with strong decision-making abilities and expertise in supply chain strategy. Key responsibilities include driving profitability through efficiency improvements, cost savings, and establishing processes that support organizational goals. Working cross-functionally with teams in Customer Service, Logistics, Production, Sales, Finance, EHS, Quality, and Marketing, the Supply Chain Excellence Leader will ensure that Halocarbon's supply chain objectives are met and aligned with company needs.
This position also includes direct oversight of inventory objectives, aligning with cash flow requirements, and leading the MRO Inventory team.
Responsibilities
Facilitate the S&OP process, driving cross-functional engagement and presenting plans to senior leadership.
Gather and analyze data for inventory management, stocking strategy, process upgrades, and data integrity improvement.
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to refine demand planning tools and improve supply planning.
Create dashboards and visualizations to monitor the overall health of the supply chain.
Mentor and develop the MRO Inventory team.
Oversee planning across the entire supply chain, leveraging technology, including AI, for productivity improvements.
Optimize Datacor ERP for planning and replenishment, becoming a subject matter expert for system enhancements and support.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Mathematics, or a related field.
5-8 years of experience in supply chain roles within manufacturing (preferably chemicals or specialty chemicals).
Management/leadership experience and familiarity with S&OP processes.
International supply chain experience preferred.
Required Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and analytical tools, with strong critical thinking skills.
Experience with data management (SQL) and reporting tools.
