Agile Connection Group has the need for an Assistant Branch Manager to oversee branch operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. This role will support the day-to-day functions of the branch, including opening new accounts, processing customer requests, and servicing deposit and safe deposit box accounts. Additionally, this position may serve as a back-up for consumer lending, including real estate lending, within the branch market area. The Assistant Branch Manager plays a critical role in ensuring smooth operations and delivering excellent customer service.

Position Purpose:
Branch Operations & Compliance:
Responsible for all phases of branch operations, ensuring compliance with bank policies and procedures.
Open and maintain deposit accounts and services.
Process customer and account maintenance requests.
Provide servicing for deposit and safe deposit box account relationships.
May handle consumer lending, including real estate, in the absence of the Branch Manager.
What You'll Do:
Maximize Team Efficiency:
Coach and mentor staff to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Ensure staff are informed of operational changes.
Customer Interaction:
Conduct loan interviews and make loan decisions within established guidelines when applicable.
Interact with customers to assess their needs and identify referral opportunities.
Resolve customer questions and issues.
Administrative & Compliance Responsibilities:
Ensure confidentiality of customer and bank information.
Comply with state and federal regulations as well as internal bank policies.
Maintain knowledge of the bank's products and services.
Additional Duties:
Open and maintain safe deposit box accounts.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager or leadership.

Associate's degree or equivalent education/work experience.
Key Skills:
Strong communication skills and supervisory experience.
Proven interpersonal and leadership abilities.
Familiarity with the Windows operating system and basic technical knowledge.
Experience working at a small bank/credit union.
