The IT Project Management Office is seeking a motivated and driven Principal Project Manager with a passion for data and analytics to join our team on a contract basis. Key Responsibilities
As a Principal Project Manager, you'll leverage your experience and drive to ensure the quality and successful implementation of the data pipeline for the commercial launch of strategic products. Your determination to see projects through from start to finish will be key to creating a lasting impact. • Take ownership of the planning, execution, and delivery of a complex, multi-phase, multi-stakeholder data program, managing each stage from requirements gathering to final reports and dashboards. • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and multiple vendors, including data engineers, architects, developers, and product owners, to define project scope, set ambitious goals, and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables. • Manage stakeholder expectations with confidence, providing regular updates, progress reports, and risk assessments to keep all parties aligned and informed. • Drive rigorous project governance, including setting up effective reporting structures, KPI tracking, and adherence to compliance and regulatory requirements. • Oversee budgets, allocate resources strategically, and establish timelines to ensure that deliverables meet the project's high standards and are completed on time and within scope. • Proactively anticipate, identify, and resolve project risks, adapting as necessary to meet evolving requirements and secure project success.
Qualifications • 10+ years in project or program management, with a focus on data-driven initiatives, data services, and cloud infrastructure. • Experienced managing and orchestrating a drug product launch for a pharma company. • Deep expertise in data services, applications, and architecture principles, with familiarity in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud-based applications. • Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, in-memory processing, and real-time data capture techniques. • Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, and traditional project management methodologies. • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven record of managing senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams effectively. • A relentless drive for results and an unwavering commitment to overcoming challenges to achieve project milestones. • Preferred Certifications: PMP, Agile/Scrum, or equivalent project management certifications.
