Job Description:

TalentoHC has partnered with an entertainment company who is seeking a professional and eager purchasing clerk to join our growing team in the South Florida Area on a contract basis.

This candidate will be responsible for ordering, receiving, and maintaining inventory of food, beverage, and other related supplies.

This role ensures that the establishment has all the necessary ingredients and materials to meet operational needs while maintaining budget and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Order food, beverages, and supplies based on the establishment's needs and usage trends.

Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best pricing and quality for products.

Prepare purchase orders and maintain records of all transactions.

Regularly monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or excess inventory.

Conduct periodic inventory checks to ensure accurate records and avoid waste.

Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to determine supply needs and forecast demand.

Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.

Review supplier performance and manage any discrepancies or issues related to quality or delivery.

Assist in the selection and evaluation of new suppliers.

Inspect incoming deliveries for quality, quantity, and accuracy based on purchase orders.

Ensure that all items are stored properly, adhering to food safety and storage standards.

Coordinate with the receiving team to ensure timely and efficient receipt of goods.

Maintain organized records of purchase orders, invoices, and vendor communications.

Generate reports on inventory levels, purchasing activities, and cost analysis for management review.

Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to procurement.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in purchasing or supply chain management are a plus.

Experience:

Previous experience in F&B purchasing, inventory management, or a similar role is preferred.

Working Conditions:

Typically works in an office environment with some time spent in storage areas.

May need to lift or move goods and materials occasionally.

Flexible hours may be required based on delivery schedules and operational needs.
