Designs by Mitchel is a successful and growing kitchen and bath design & supply firm seeking a detail-oriented Office Manager to join our team. We specialize in high-end kitchen and bathroom renovations, large multi-unit building, working closely with homeowners, builders, and contractors to deliver exceptional results.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Office Manager with construction industry background to manage day-to-day operations, handle project coordination, and oversee administrative functions. This is a full-time, in-person position working directly with the owner to ensure smooth business operations and project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and track purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation
- Coordinate with vendors for material ordering and delivery scheduling
- Manage project documentation from start to finish
- Handle bookkeeping duties including QuickBooks entry, invoice processing, and payment collection
- Match purchase orders with invoices and delivery confirmations
- Maintain detailed records of all transactions and project documentation
- Coordinate material pickups and deliveries when needed
- Assist with general office management and administrative tasks
- Manage and update project tracking systems
- Coordinate with virtual team members on project management tasks
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as an office manager or project coordinator in the construction industry
- Proficient with QuickBooks
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
- Experience with project management software (Asana preferred)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Additional Qualifications (not required)
- Experience in kitchen and bath industry
- Familiarity with 2020 Design, CAD, or Chief Architect software
- Basic drawing/sketching abilities
- Experience with construction documentation and purchase orders
