Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the development of utility-scale solar projects, including site identification, feasibility studies, and permitting processes.
Work closely with landowners, local authorities, and community stakeholders to ensure smooth project progress.
Oversee project budgets, timelines, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, finance, and legal, to advance projects through each development phase.
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
Present project updates and recommendations to senior management and external partners.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in project development, ideally in utility-scale solar or renewable energy projects.
Education: Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, business, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
Skills: Strong understanding of renewable energy development, permitting processes, and environmental regulations.
