Job Title: Planner/Scheduler - MRI Sub Surface Workover Rig Team
Location: Minot, ND
Schedule: Rotational (8 days on, 6 days off)
Job Summary
This position is responsible for optimizing crew schedules, managing work orders, materials, and task lists for the MRI-Sub Surface Workover Rig team. The Planner/Scheduler will enhance workflow efficiency by routing job requests and ensuring alignment with crew capacity and production goals. In addition, this role will involve close collaboration with logistics specialists to improve planning processes and streamline operations.
Key Responsibilities
Work Order Management: Create, prioritize, and manage work orders based on company rules and operational needs.
Scheduling & Routing: Optimize job schedules to ensure smooth workflow and reduce backlog.
Crew Capacity & Task List Management: Update crew capacities and task lists to align with job standards and project scope.
Quality Assurance: Perform QA/QC on work orders and notifications to ensure adherence to standards.
Mentorship: Train and mentor team members on work order closeout standards.
Tracking & Reporting: Analyze trends, track overspent work orders, and research unexecuted jobs to improve planning.
Customer Communication: Liaise with customers to provide updates, communicate delays, or resolve issues.
Process Improvement: Audit dispatch procedures and identify areas for enhancement.

Preferred Experience & Skills
Background in the industrial or oilfield sectors, ideally with dispatch experience.
Proficiency with SAP or CMMS systems.
Knowledge of LEAN principles.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and SAP.
Education Requirements
Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: Associate's or bachelor's degree; SAP PM certification or equivalent.
