Allied Resources is looking for a Director of Engineering who will be responsible for leading the capital engineering team, overseeing $100M+ in annual capital investments across multiple facilities to drive critical operational improvements and long-term growth. This role plays a vital part in aligning capital strategies with business objectives, ensuring project success from scoping to execution.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate capital projects, including scoping, evaluation, and execution of engineering, growth, and maintenance projects across facilities.
Oversee project planning stages, including budgeting, scheduling, estimating, procurement, and construction, to support an approved capital plan.
Collaborate with site leaders to identify synergies and allocate resources for project execution.
Manage and forecast capital expenditures, communicating regularly with Operations and Senior Leadership.
Develop and uphold safety policies within engineering projects, conducting safety audits and fostering a safety-first culture.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering; Chemical Engineering preferred.
10+ years in capital project management and execution within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Six Sigma Greenbelt or Blackbelt certification or equivalent experience in productivity and continuous improvement projects.
