Lifeline Children's Services is looking to hire a State Director to join and lead the established team in Georgia. The State Director will oversee a team of adoption and pregnancy counseling managers, caseworkers, and pregnancy counseling and adoption specialists. In addition to leading their team, this individual will develop a fundraising plan to raise the state budget in order to best support Lifeline's ministry efforts in Georgia. To spread the word about Lifeline, the State Director will start and strengthen church partnerships with pastors locally and around the state.
Supporting mothers in unplanned pregnancies is a large part of the local team's focus, so expanding recruitment efforts to locate and serve women in these situations is a high priority. This is a great opportunity for an entrepreneurial-minded, relational leader who will lead in growing and expanding Lifeline's mission and goals across the state.
POSITION KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Build upon existing and historical relationships while also cultivating new partnerships with local churches and donors
Establish a fundraising plan and execute to hit annual budget goal
Organize and direct the work of the state office and delegate responsibilities to staff members as appropriate
Pursue opportunities to present in churches about the Biblical alternative of adoption and Lifeline church campaigns and church based programs
Develop a plan for public relations to promote Lifeline from both a development and awareness platform
Take initiative in recruiting efforts to partner with families who have a heart for the Gospel and vulnerable children across the world
Lead, develop, and create a unified team culture among staff members in a gospel-centered way
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED
Commitment to and passion for Lifeline's mission; signs and upholds the Employee Statement of Faith
Bachelor's degree required; a Master's degree is a plus
Minimum of 10 years of workplace experience (ideally ministry-related)
5+ years of fundraising experience
Strong track record of leading, inspiring, and developing teams
Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop partnerships with a broad audience in order to advance Lifeline ministry
Relational entrepreneur with high attention to detail
Ability to think strategically; understanding of metrics to track and objectives to prioritize
Self-starter who can intentionally establish rapport with staff, Board of Directors, local churches, and donors across the state
Strong problem-solver; takes initiative and executes to meet tight deadlines while still maintaining a client focus and relational mindset

LOCATION
This position is a remote role in the Atlanta area, but you will spend time across the state of Georgia.
