Key Responsibilities:
IT Operations and Support:
Provide Tier 2 support for all staff, ensuring timely resolution of IT issues.
Manage and maintain Windows Server, security protocols, networks (LAN/WAN), ISPs, mobile phones, and cloud-based phone systems.
Design, implement, and manage a multi-site Active Directory environment
Design, Implement, and manage Group Policies.
Use Powershell scripting (or similar) to automate and solve complex technical issues escalated from Tier 1 support.
Travel as needed to assist with remote office installations and relocations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless project execution.
IT Infrastructure Management:
Maintain and optimize IT infrastructure, adhering to industry best practices.
Manage IT assets using tools like Tanium or similar asset management systems, ensuring proper hardware and software tracking.
Virtualize servers using VMware and troubleshoot VM-related issues.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Versatility:
Work closely with the Network, Security, and Systems teams to ensure seamless integration and performance of the IT infrastructure.
Balance responsibilities by wearing multiple hats, supporting various functions and initiatives across the company as needed.
Foster a proactive approach to collaborating across departments, anticipating the needs of different teams and contributing to the overall efficiency of operations.
Provide technical support and solutions that align with the strategic goals of each department, ensuring consistency and reliability in IT operations.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT Operations.
Strong experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
Proficiency in Powershell scripting (required).
Experience with asset management tools, such as Tanium or similar.
VMware experience, including server virtualization and troubleshooting.
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
Excellent understanding of IT infrastructure and operations best practices.
Preferred Skills:
Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft).
Experience with cloud computing platforms and services.
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
