The Manager, Field Equipment Service (FESM) is key leadership position overseeing the programs, processes, installation, maintenance and repair for all company supplied field refrigeration equipment to produce and or hold the ice products of the Company at a large number of customer retail locations across the Houston operating market. The Manager, Field Equipment services will a manage staff of supervisors, refrigeration technicians, retail merchandisers, installation technicians, and other support staff within the Houston Market. Position has full P&L responsibilities for the cost center.
Position reports to Senior Field Equipment Services Manager and works closely with other Market leadership positions to ensure complete customer service satisfaction.
Position will be based in Houston and will manage staff based in the Houston Market.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage all Field Equipment Services Personnel. To include the hiring, training, and job performance. Oversee the process and compliance for scheduling and dispatching Lead in handling any customer concerns or equipment needs Full P&L responsibility for the cost center Parts and inventory Safety programs KPI performance Reporting - internal and external to customers and leadership Budget planning and performance Regulatory compliance

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Extensive local travel but minimum overnight travel. Will often work in retail stores; drive among retail stores and to/from plant location. Must be able to lift 40lbs. Ability to climb ladder and work with light duty tools.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 5 years management experience with outstanding results and good references
Must have valid driver's license and a good driving record - will be required to use company vehicle at times.
High School Diploma or GED required
Higher education - preferred
Experience in refrigeration and EPA certification is a plus, but not required
