Serving as a full-time, embedded Regional Program Manager with a Fortune 50 Company in its corporate security organization, the selected candidate will be a high-visibility strategic partner that leads the coordination and strategic alignment of diverse business functions. This position requires scrupulous attention to detail and the ability to operate at a tactical, strategic, and operational level. The primary focus of this position will be to optimize methods and the approach to program management in a large corporate security organization.
The selected candidate will be responsible for streamlining high-importance projects and conducting leadership level internal and external initiatives that have significant impact on the client's business objectives. This position requires curiosity, thoughtfulness, and a dedication to solving the big problems in often ambiguous environments. Imagination, flexibility, organization, outstanding writing skills, and the ability to combine hard skills with soft, are key factors for success.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Support the Fortune 50 Company's Regional Manager in overall strategy and day-to-day operations
Focus specifically on vendor oversight and maintenance of performance metrics. Contribute to, and drive data driven decisions that help vendors to perform to customer standards
Drive the execution of action items and top priorities agreed upon by the Regional Manager and leadership team
Create structure and focus for broad, ambiguous ideas that the Regional Manager and division leaders have agreed upon
Proactively identify opportunities to add value to the Regional Manager and Fortune 50 Company
Operate at a tactical, strategic, and operational level, handling the oversight of projects that fall between divisions or leadership areas of responsibility
Advanced presentation, proposal, and report writing
Educations/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree
5 years' experience with progressive management roles or equivalent
Expertise in project management
Ability to communicate complex issues effectively, verbally and in writing
Authorization to work in the U.S.
Interest in the security and risk management field
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree or above
PMP or similar certification
Executive level briefing skills
Advanced business writing skills
Policy creation and maintenance experience
Intermediate to advanced use of Microsoft Suite, as well as project management software
Demonstrated experience in root cause analysis
Advanced skills in maintaining a budget
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time with little to no notice
Ability to speak multiple languages
Experience in providing corporate security consulting specifically in non- industrial environments
Certifications in relevant sections of the Incident Command System
Experience with the collection and analysis of threat intelligence
Ability to stand long hours, lift 20 pounds, and work at times in an industrial environment
