This role provides engineering support across production, equipment, and facility maintenance, focusing on project management, regulatory compliance, and technical improvements. Responsibilities include overseeing contractor work, enforcing safety and GMP standards, and supporting daily plant operations. The engineer will work closely with employees, vendors, and management, delivering safety training and ensuring effective communication and compliance. This position requires occasional travel and stepping into Plant Superintendent duties when necessary.
Job Requirements:
Manage project timelines, budgets, and contractor work to ensure on-time, within-budget completion.
Ensure compliance with safety, GMP, and HACCP standards, providing regulatory training as needed.
Collaborate daily with supervisors, attend production meetings, and oversee facility operations.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical preferred).
Minimum of 6 years of supervisory experience in engineering or maintenance.
Proficiency in Microsoft software, basic knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs, and familiarity with CMMS (MP2 preferred).
