Camber and True Construction, a relationship-based practice, is looking for an energetic, people-focused, self-motivated, and dynamic team-oriented Construction Project Administrator with the ability to build meaningful relationships by putting people at the heart of every project and to lead the administrative effort of projects in the retail, restaurant/hospitality and residential markets.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Construction Project Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong organizational skills, multitasking abilities, and effective communication to liaise with clients, contractors, and team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Oversee construction projects from start to finish, ensuring all phases are executed effectively.
  • Schedule Management: Develop and manage project schedules and timelines, monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Communication: Facilitate communication among clients, contractors, and team members to maintain alignment and transparency.
  • Documentation: Prepare and submit project documentation and reports, maintaining accurate project records.
  • Site Inspections: Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess progress and quality.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project.
  • Supplier Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for the timely delivery of materials.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on project performance, providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Ensure effective communication and collaboration among all project stakeholders.
  • Budget Management: Assist in managing project budgets and resource allocation, ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Proposal Support: Assist in the preparation of project proposals and bids as needed.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of two years of verifiable experience
  • Proven experience in construction project coordination or management.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues proactively.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in construction.
