We're a rapidly growing and reputable Wealth Management Firm in Flagstaff, AZ, expanding our services to include Tax Preparation for our clients. We seek an experienced Tax Practice Manager to lead this new area, focusing on client relationships, tax strategy, and efficient practice management.
Qualifications
Education/License: CPA required; Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master in taxation or designations/licensing a plus
Experience: 5+ years in tax preparation, including complex returns for families and business clients.
Skills: Proficient in tax technology and software; strong communication, analytical, and project management abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement: Conduct client consultations, manage onboarding, and provide strategic tax advice.
Tax Preparation: Oversee individual (1040), trust (1041), partnership (1065), and S-Corp (1120S) filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Process Optimization: Standardize workflows, leverage technology to improve processes, and enhance the client experience.
Cross-Training: Provide monthly training for advisory staff on tax strategies and tax law updates.
Bookkeeping Services: Offer hourly bookkeeping and reconciliation services to support clients' financial records
Salary:
