CME is currently seeking an energetic individual to lead the Billing team. This position is responsible for billing orders for North America's leading distributor of healthcare equipment. This position oversees full and partial billing of drop ship orders as well as orders shipping from CME's 24+ service centers and works closely with members of the Customer Service, Project Management, Sales, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable teams. This is a hybrid position and will report to the Corporate Director of Customer Service & Purchasing.
Responsibilities:
Manages the Billing Team (Three full-time employees)
Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
Responsible for monitoring and evaluating employee performance, providing feedback and coaching, and executing formal performance reviews.
Ensures accurate and timely billing of all customer invoices.
Develops strategies to prioritize age of order, dollar value, percentage of order received, etc. to guarantee expeditious billing of high priority orders.
Oversees the freight audit process
Will assist in implementing and will oversee the new storage billing process
Analyzes requests for and processes customer credits and rebills
Work with Corporate Director and IT development team to identify, create and implement new processes and tools to improve efficiencies and workflows within the department as required.
Performs all duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
Requirements:
Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
3+ years of administrative or accounting experience
3+ years in a managerial role
Understanding of basic accounting and financial principles
Experienced working in a dynamic fast-paced work environment
Team player who can effectively interact with management and collaborate with other departments in the organization
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience using Microsoft suite of products (advanced experience in Excel and Outlook)
Flexible schedule
Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality
Physical Requirements:
This position is required to go into the office located on the second floor
Ascending or descending exterior/interior stairwells and ramps (no elevator access)
Remaining in a stationary position standing or sitting for prolonged periods
Light work that may include moving objects up to 15 lbs.
The ability to safely move about to accomplish tasks or move from one workstation to another
