Position: Trade Analyst
Location: 540 West Madison St., Chicago, IL 60661
Setting: Hybrid (Onsite day one)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, standard business hours
Pay Rate: $48.44/hr
Start Date: ASAP, pending onboarding completion

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Trade Analyst with a background in Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD) and experience in GMI Backoffice systems to join our team in Chicago. This role requires someone who can accurately and efficiently process client instructions, amendments, and corrections throughout the lifecycle of futures and options trades. The Trade Analyst will support execution desks and client services, ensuring accurate and timely responses to client inquiries. Strong analytical skills, a keen understanding of financial markets, and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Trade Processing & Position Management: Process client instructions, amendments, and corrections across the lifecycle of futures and options trades with precision and adherence to deadlines.
Client Interaction: Collaborate with Execution Desks and Client Services teams to address client queries professionally and in a timely manner.
Risk Reduction & Process Improvement: Work with team members to identify and implement risk-reduction strategies and operational improvements.
Process Improvement Initiatives: Propose and contribute to process enhancements, supporting a pipeline of changes across ETD and prioritizing projects for funding.
Risk & Performance Metrics: Assist in developing and automating metrics to track risk and performance, enhancing overall operational efficiency.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Participate in UAT and report on key program changes to ensure successful implementation.
Subject Matter Expertise: Provide expertise and support for ad hoc projects within the change management book of work.
Required Skills
Experience: GMI Backoffice experience required; experience at an exchange or within another bank is preferred.
Industry Knowledge: Understanding of Exchange Traded Derivatives, futures, and options, with familiarity in terms such as FCM, R&N, clearing, CME, CBT, OCC, ICE US, CBOE, and top day adjustments.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio, with the ability to create process flowcharts and presentations.
Education: Bachelor's degree required.
