POSITION SUMMARY

The Inventory Manager at Circadia is responsible for maintaining an efficient, accurate, and compliant inventory system that supports the company's robust product lines. This role is central in aligning inventory practices with the company's high standards in both quality and reliability, ensuring seamless operations across production, sales, and new product launches. The primary objective of the position is to forecast demand effectively, manage stock levels, and foster productive vendor partnerships to minimize inventory risks like stockouts and excess holding costs. Through continuous process optimization and quality control measures, the Inventory Manager plays a key role in reducing waste, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and contributing to cost efficiency, ultimately supporting Circadia's commitment to excellence and innovation in skincare solutions.

OBJECTIVES

  • Monitor stock levels for raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products, use inventory management software to track movement and ensure accurate records.
  • Collaborate with production and sales teams to anticipate demand and order materials in a timely way, reducing stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Establish strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate terms, monitor lead times, and evaluate vendor performance to ensure timely and cost-effective supply of materials.
  • Inspect incoming materials for quality standards, addressing any inconsistencies, and ensure compliance with industry standards, particularly important for the esthetics and skincare focus at Circadia.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory audits to minimize discrepancies, prepare inventory reports for management, and analyze trends to inform better purchasing and stock decisions.
  • Identify areas to streamline inventory processes, such as automating manual tasks, optimizing storage practices, and implementing sustainability measures to reduce waste.
  • Work with the product development team to manage inventory needs for new product launches, ensuring raw materials and packaging are readily available for timely production.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ Years Experience in Manufacturing
  • 5+ Years Experience with NetSuite or similar IMS
  • High School Diploma or GED

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Capable of lifting and moving inventory boxes, raw materials, or finished products, typically up to 25-50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, particularly when performing inventory counts, inspections, or managing stock in storage areas.
