Who You Are:
As the Merchandise Planning Manager at Fleur du Mal, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales, managing inventory, and optimizing product performance. With a strong foundation in buying, sizing analytics, and strategic planning, you excel at translating data into actionable insights that enhance profitability and operational efficiency. Your ability to collaborate across teams and markets will be key to achieving the brand's business goals.
What You'll Do:
Analyze e-commerce and retail sales data, market trends, and sizing performance to refine product assortments, adjust inventory levels, and support business strategies with data-driven insights.
Collaborate with the VP of Wholesale and Merchandising to shape strategic buying plans that align with company objectives, driving profitability and ensuring that product placement meets customer demand.
Oversee buying decisions and inventory management for ecommerce, retail and wholesale businesses, ensuring that the right products, sizes, and quantities are available to meet market needs and optimize sales.
Track and monitor key performance metrics such as sales, inventory levels, and size range performance, using these to recommend improvements to product and buying strategies.
Prepare detailed reports for senior leadership, presenting buying trends, sales performance, and sizing analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
You'll Need to Have:
7+ years of experience in planning, buying, or merchandising, ideally in luxury or contemporary brand with a focus on ready-to-wear and / or lingerie.
Strong analytical skills with demonstrated expertise in forecasting demand, buying, inventory management, and sales performance analysis.
Proficiency in interpreting a wide range of data, including sales trends, customer behavior, product performance, and sizing analytics, to drive product and buying strategies.
Advanced knowledge of retail math and financial planning tools, with the ability to conduct comprehensive forecasting and inventory optimization.
Experience in developing data-driven strategies that enhance profitability and improve operational efficiency.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Deep knowledge of the luxury fashion market and its product categories.
Adaptability and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Proven experience in managing buying strategies and analyzing size ranges to improve product performance and sales.
Experience in multi-channel retail (ecommerce and brick-and-mortar) and luxury brands.
A strong passion for analytics, buying and merchandising.
A network of relationships within the fashion and luxury industries, with a history of building successful brand partnerships and collaborations.
