Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Sales Development Representative who can effectively drive sales growth and expand market presence in the field of In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD). In this role, you will have the autonomy to prioritize and manage opportunities across accounts, establish and implement successful sales strategies, and cultivate long-term strategic relationships with key decision-makers.
Job Responsibilities:
Independently prioritize and manage opportunities and pipeline to increase sales productivity
Leverage strong customer awareness to effectively manage opportunities and pipeline
Enable successful sales strategy implementation by translating local and divisional initiatives to tactical territory-specific activities
Proficiently use CRM tools to move opportunities through the sales process and provide accurate information for forecasting and data analysis
Persuade customers to advance in the sales process, asking for commitment at each sales call
Develop strong strategies to displace or protect against competition based on a thorough understanding of the market and competitors
Understand market trends, customer relationships, and business drivers to develop strategies aligned with key decision-makers
Uncover needs across different areas in the prospect/customer organization using advanced questioning techniques
Clearly articulate the value and return on investment for each opportunity in a way that resonates with the customer
Proactively communicate with customers, provide enhanced support, and collaborate with subject matter experts to address customer concerns.
Build and sustain long-term strategic connections with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Deliver professional and comprehensible verbal and written communications tailored to the target audience
Represent Thermo Fisher as a brand ambassador when communicating with external parties
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Academic background in Medical, Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or Bioengineering preferred
Minimum of 3 years of professional sales experience
Preferably, more than 5 years of experience in sales, product marketing, or scientific application in the medical device or diagnostics field
Fluent in Korean and intermediate or above skills in English
