This position is within Kinder Morgan's Midstream group, reporting to the Director - Commercial Scheduling. This individual is the main point of contact for customer inquiries, analyzing and resolving issues regarding daily scheduling activities for the intrastate pipeline group, which includes gathering and processing. These activities include nominations, confirmations, scheduling, allocations, and imbalance management. This candidate should understand upstream and downstream departmental relations, as well as work closely with Operations and Commercial teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Requires flexibility to work a 7 on 7 off shift schedule requiring nights, weekends and/or holidays.
Communicate with internal and external customers, operations, marketing, and pipeline personnel on daily scheduling activities.
Assist customers with the nomination process in iDART.
Respond accurately and timely to customer inquiries concerning operations and/or contract requirements.
Review and monitor customer contractual rights as defined by the contract.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with producers, marketers, pipelines, and various internal business owners.
Manage daily transportation logistics and schedules.
Perform daily confirmations with point operators using various confirmation methods, multiple times per day.
Review and monitor point flows using SCADA.
Mitigate impacts of planned and unplanned facility outages.
Analyze and fully understand complex change requests and resolve competing priorities.
Ability to comprehend the entire workflow from contract creation to invoicing.
Follow through to appropriate areas within the company concerning issues relating to all the above.
Special projects and other daily, weekly, or monthly assignments as required.

5-7 years in natural gas pipeline scheduling or a related role preferred.
A bachelor's degree is highly encouraged.
Previous experience in a customer service position where complex concepts are conveyed using various communication tools within a limited timeframe.
Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize workload in a fast paced and frequently changing environment.
Ability to balance competing priorities while working in tight and changing deadlines.
Must be able to handle stressful situations and effectively manage operations occurring simultaneously on different pipelines.
Must possess strong organizational and time management skills.
Must be detail oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills appropriate in a virtual environment.
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and establish relationships and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Works well in a team environment as well as autonomously with limited direct supervision.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. and the ability to learn new technology, such as (but not limited to) Power BI and Robotic Process Automation tools.
Experience with the DART system or equivalent transactional data systems is a plus.
Experience or knowledge of rich gas systems is a plus.
Experience with NGL products as it relates to processing and fractionation is a plus.
