Trinity Health of New England is looking for a dynamic Certified Surgical Technologist to join our dedicated, high preforming Joint Replacement Orthopedic team. The Nationally recognized CJRI has dedicated Inpatient private rooms and OR space including 8 TJR rooms. What You Will Do
Functions as a professional under the direct and continuous supervision of qualified professional registered nurses and in accordance with established procedures and aseptic principles functions.
As a first scrub/scrub assistant in selected cases to render quality service to patients of all ages and surgeons during operative procedures.
Assists with the preparation of sterile/unsterile supplies and equipment; assumes responsibility for the proper care of all supplies and equipment; reports unusual occurrences to the Operating Room Director or designee and contributes to the efficient and productive operations of the Operating Room.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology.
Licensure: Certified CST.
Certification: BLS required; Prefer 1 year of Ortho Experience. New Requirement as of 10/1/2023, New grads have 18 months to provide proof of certification. THONE gives 2 chances to pass licensure exam.
