Digital magazine chronicling high society, culture and the luxury surrounding this lifestyle is seeking an advertising sales director and publishing executive. This motivated professional will sell advertising and manage all aspects of the sales while collaborating with the editor.
The position involves: 1) Identifying and soliciting new business; building and maintaining a full pipeline of sales prospects. 2) Identifying client/agency needs and developing persuasive proposals to meet needs and opportunities. 3) Pitching and selling advertising space to large corporations and small businesses. 4) Generating revenue and meet/exceed established sales targets. 5) Maintaining client communication and ensure client satisfaction. 6) Monitoring competition to continually find new account leads.
Qualifications
Previous experience in advertising sales or a related field.
Solid prospecting and sales skills.
Strong client service relationship-building skills
Proficient in negotiating and closing sales.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills: verbal, written and presentation.
