A Day in the Life
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of our pump software projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, excellent project management skills, and a proven track record of delivering complex software projects on time and within budget. This is a true 'software project' role that requires you to understand the activities and deliverables of very technical people.

This role is onsite in Northridge, CA (hybrid/3 days per week)

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders


• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation


• Identify and manage project risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies


• Lead and manage cross-functional project teams, including developers, testers, systems, and quality, to ensure successful project delivery


• Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and ensure adherence to project plans


• Conduct regular status meetings with project teams and stakeholders to provide updates and address any concerns


• Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications


• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders


• Facilitate effective collaboration and communication among project team members and stakeholders


• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk management plans


• Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.


• All other duties as assigned

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience

• Or, advanced degree and 2 years of experience

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$109,600.00 - $164,400.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
