The Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis is seeking applications for a Supervisor, Technology and Support for our Treasury Technology Division in Minneapolis.
In this role you will lead a team of Engineers working on building application observability tools, support the onboarding and deployment to other systems and provide operational support. This is a shared service organization, focused on the success of our customers.
Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident alien with at least three (3) years of legal residency.

Onsite work is an essential function of this position, and you are expected to be in the office two days per week for meetings and team collaboration.
We're looking for a leader who will bring a good blend of people leadership and technical experience managing applications in AWS.
Responsibilities:
Lead development work of high complexity and/or priority for a cloud native systems in Amazon Web Services.
Serve as a project leader and/or facilitate team efforts on complex System and local projects.
Provide leadership and coordination of staff, which includes supervision over varied and/or complex to highly complex work or indirect supervision over routine and highly repetitive work.
Coordinate an incident response team that addresses critical technology issues as they arise.
Provide direction, feedback, and assess performance for professional staff and/or other members of management with minimal direction from a more senior management member.
Create and provide a variety of written communications, including critical system notifications, technical recommendations, and status reports on projects/tasks to management; presents recommendations and statuses as requested.
Assist in translating compliance policies from System governing bodies into business and automation plans.
Interact with other members of management, including Senior Management, to resolve critical incidents, and provide recommendations related to department functions and implement new or updated department policies and procedures.
Provide consultation to stakeholders and assists them with information technology decisions and implementations.
Analyze and evaluate business needs, assesses benefits and risks, and recommend technical and/or business solutions.
Resolve and or give guidance on a range of problems from the routine to the highly complex for customers, including Ninth District business lines, FRS business lines, and National IT.
Communicate and collaborate across System resources and department functions to resolve business and technical issues.
Maintain high level knowledge of analytical, technical, and/or business issues related to the industry and provides a high-level of application and/or business expertise.
Ensure training and development plans and programs are implemented to address individual and team needs.
Exercise good judgment, promptly identify and address staff/project conflicts, as well as individual/team performance issues and escalates to management when necessary.
Assist with monitoring expenses; tracks expenses within Department/Section budget.
Assist with department reporting and other analytic functions.
Assist with annual financial planning activities
Ensure department/section processes are efficient and effective, and procedures are up-to-date, relevant, and adhere to compliance standards.
Make recommendations to more senior department management pertaining to employee recognition, hiring, salary, and disciplinary actions.
Qualifications:
To be considered for Supervisor, Tech & Support II, you must meet one of the following education and years of experience qualifications.
Bachelor`s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 5 years of professional technical experience in information technology and management information systems and/or business analytics.
Experience to include technical project management, leadership, coaching/mentoring, supervisory or budgeting.
Highly effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills; and demonstrated organizational, planning, and execution skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with standard business productivity applications and software.
Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident alien with at least three years of legal residency.

Salary Range:
Supervisor, Tech & Support I: $88,400- $110,557- $132,700 Annually.
Supervisor, Tech & Support II: $108,000- $134,971- $162,000 Annually.
Salary offer will be based on qualifications/experience of the candidate, alignment with market data, the needs of the position, our total compensation package, and internal equity.
