Summary
The Sales Enablement Leader collaborates with various teams to represent the Houchens Insurance Group brand, supports the optimization of automation and lead-nurturing processes, executes marketing plans through targeted channels, and oversees graphic design and video broadcasting elements. This role analyzes digital marketing data, updates the company website, issues external communications, and supervises a small team.

Responsibilities
25% Sales Enablement and Branding
  • Perform research, analyses, and testing with a variety of tools to gain insights and shape marketing strategy geared around specialization.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize automation and lead-nurturing process through email, content, events, and social channels.
  • Assist in execution of marketing plans to reach targeted audiences through targeted channels.
  • Development and execution of campaigns, including content creation, new-product launches, social media, upselling, cross-selling, and sales enablement.
  • Help build pipeline enhancements through coordinated strategies with Producers.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of our products, standards, and differentiators so that strategies can be developed for more-effective communications and brand awareness.
  • Document procedures, processes, and workflows, and recommend changes for greater efficiencies.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to understand how marketing activity leads to customer sales and effectiveness.
  • Assist with all internal and external marketing campaigns, producing content for projects and initiatives to enhance lead generation.
  • Analyze existing marketing collateral with a critical eye and identify opportunities for improvement that align with the direction of the organization.
  • Develops and executes a social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking analytics and audience identification.
  • Designs posts to sustain audience curiosity and create interest around the HIG brand and product.
  • Stay up to date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness.
25% Digital Media
  • Prepares and edits digital publications to aid in attracting and retaining business.
  • Updates and maintains company website to align with marketing strategy.
  • Optimizes search engine sites and tools.
  • Continuously captures and analyzes the appropriate digital marketing data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acts on the information.
  • Continually explores new avenues of digital marketing.
25% Leadership
  • Leads graphic design and video broadcasting elements to bring together in a complete package.
  • Works with Senior Management to develop HIG's brand story to deploy throughout all marketing aspects and information sharing avenues.
  • Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all promotional materials and events.
  • Oversees marketing operation budget.
  • Serves as a company liaison with outside sources for ongoing campaigns.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with consumers, the community, and other public interest groups.
15% Internal Marketing
  • Works with Senior Management to promote the company's objectives, products and services to employees in order to increase engagement with organizational goals and fostering brand advocacy.
  • Completes Special Projects as requested.
10% Digital Marketing
  • Displays commitment and initiative to meet department and education goals as set forth in the organization's education program.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises approximately 1-3 employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Requirements
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Spreadsheet Software; Design Software; Presentation Software; Word Processing Software; Web Design and development software.

Education And/or Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, Public Relations, or related field and two to three years of related marketing/advertising experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with design software, Canva, is preferred.
Certifications
Must be able to complete training courses as set forth by the organization's education plans.
